Comments about fasting.

I want to share some comments about fasting from some great church leaders:

If you say I will fast when God lays it on me, you never will. You are too cold and indifferent. Take the yoke upon you.  Dwight L. Moody

As men and women are beginning to consider the days and times through which we are passing with a new seriousness, and as many are beginning to look for revival and reawakening, the question of fasting has become more and more important.

Fasting has gone almost completely out of the life of the ordinary person. Jesus condemned the wrong kind of fasting, but He never meant that fasting should be completely eliminated from life and living. We should fast when we are concerned for God's work. I believe the greatest thing a church could has is a staff, and leaders who fast and pray - not when the church burns down, but in order to get the church on fire.  Fasting brings about a supernatural work in our lives.   Charles Stanley
